Now any citizen of Arkansas can show their support for the fallen heroes of our state. The new Firefighters Memorial specialty plate was created by Act 1578 of 2005, sponsored by State Representative Steven Bright of Maumelle. The plate became available in August 2005 & directly benefits the Arkansas Fallen Firefighters Memorial.

The new plate isavailable to any motor vehicle owner through the Department of Finance and Administration's Special License Office in Little Rock or one of 95 select branch offices throughout the state (Click for list of branches). The initial fee for the plate is $15 with $5 benefiting the memorial and the remaining $10 collected by the state for processing. The renewal fee for the plate is only $5 above the standard cost of vehicle registration.
